UPSSSC Veterinary Pharmacist Recruitment 2026: Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC), Lucknow has officially invited online applications from eligible Indian citizens for recruitment to 1,308 vacant posts of Veterinary Pharmacist under the control of the Directorate of Animal Husbandry, against Advt. No. 18-Exam/2026 (Veterinary Pharmacist Main Examination – 18/2025).
Only those candidates who possess the mandatory essential qualifications prescribed for the advertised post and have appeared in the Preliminary Eligibility Test – 2025 (PET-2025) holding a valid PET-2025 scorecard issued by the Commission are eligible to apply online. Candidates will be shortlisted for the Main Examination based on their normalized scores in PET-2025 according to merit. Only shortlisted candidates will be given the opportunity to appear in the Main Examination. Candidates obtaining zero or negative absolute/normalized scores in PET-2025 will not be shortlisted for the Mains Exam.

Age Limit UPSSSC Veterinary Pharmacist Recruitment 2026
- In accordance with Rule 10 of Part-4 of the Uttar Pradesh Animal Husbandry Department Veterinary Pharmacist Service Rules, 2025, for direct recruitment to the post of Veterinary Pharmacist, it is mandatory that the candidate has attained the age of 18 years and has not exceeded the age of 40 years as of the 1st of July of the calendar year in which the vacancies for direct recruitment are advertised.
- However, in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and other categories as may be notified by the Government from time to time, the upper age limit shall be higher by such number of years as may be specified.

Essential Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Must have passed Intermediate (12th) examination with Biology ( जीव विज्ञान) from the Board of High School and Intermediate Education, Uttar Pradesh, or an equivalent examination recognized by the Government.
- Diploma Qualification: Must possess a 2-Year 3-Month Diploma in Veterinary Pharmacy from a university or institution established by law in India.
- Council Registration: Must be registered with the competent council or institution (where applicable).(Note: As per UP Government letter dated 20-05-2026, Veterinary Pharmacy Council is currently not in existence in UP, so council registration is not mandatory).
- Language Requirement: Knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script.
