The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB), Bhopal, has taken a significant step in compliance with the orders passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in Civil Appeals No. 1385/2025 and 1386/2025. The Board has released the official rulebook for the Teachers’ Eligibility Test 2026 (MSPSTET 2026), intended for teachers currently serving in the state’s primary (Classes 1 to 5) and middle (Classes 6 to 8) schools. The primary objective of this examination is to assess the eligibility of these working teachers.

Qualification & Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the MPESB MSPSTET 2026 must fulfill the following educational qualification and eligibility standards:
1. Primary School Teacher (Class 1 to 5):
- Senior Secondary (12th) with a minimum of 50% marks along with D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) or B.El.Ed.
- OR Graduation Degree with a minimum of 50% marks along with a 2-year D.El.Ed.
- Mandatory Condition: The candidate must be currently working as a serving teacher in primary classes across Madhya Pradesh schools.
2. Middle School Teacher (Class 6 to 8):
- Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subject along with D.El.Ed / B.Ed / B.Sc.B.Ed / B.A.B.Ed.
- Mandatory Condition: The candidate must be currently working as a serving teacher in middle classes across Madhya Pradesh schools.
3. Qualifying Marks (Minimum Passing Percentage):
